If you are employed in a state that uses a registry to track professional development hours, you will be able to provide your registry ID (Stars, MOPID, Registry or other ECE ID#) after you have completed the quiz for the course. If you pass the quiz we will report your course completion to the state registry using the registry ID that you provide.

Designed for new and experienced early childhood professionals, this self-paced course explores daily routines, including feeding, diapering, safe sleep, organization, language development, and engaging activities. Through practical guidance and real-world examples, participants will gain confidence in creating a responsive learning environment that supports the healthy growth and development of young children. Course length – 3.0 hours.

Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to:

Identify the correct steps for safely feeding infants and toddlers with 80% accuracy on the course assessment.

Identify and sequence the appropriate steps for safe and sanitary diapering.

Select appropriate safe-sleep practices for infants and toddlers in course-based scenarios.

Develop an infant or toddler activity plan that includes at least three developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
