If you are employed in a state that uses a registry to track professional development hours, you will be able to provide your registry ID (Stars, MOPID, Registry or other ECE ID#) after you have completed the quiz for the course. If you pass the quiz we will report your course completion to the state registry using the registry ID that you provide.
This course is designed for early childhood professionals working with infants. It explores the benefits of engaging infants in art experiences, focusing on developmentally appropriate, safe, and enriching activities. Participants will gain practical strategies and a deeper understanding of how art supports holistic infant development. Course length – 2.0 hours.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Articulate the developmental benefits of art for infants across cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and sensory domains.
Identify safe and appropriate art materials for infants.
Design and implement a variety of age-appropriate art activities for infants.
Create a stimulating and safe environment for infant art exploration.
Understand the importance of process over product in infant art.
Document and interpret infant art experiences to inform practice.
