Our Orientation for Early Childhood Educators provides new early childhood professionals with a strong foundation in the responsibilities, standards, and best practices essential for delivering high-quality care to young children. This self-paced online course introduces key knowledge across three core areas: Health, Safety and Sanitation, Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, and Recommended Practices for Early Childhood Settings.
Participants will learn how to maintain safe and healthy environments, recognize and report suspected abuse, and implement developmentally appropriate practices that support children’s growth and well-being. Designed for individuals entering the early childhood field, this course equips educators with the skills and awareness needed to create nurturing, compliant, and responsive early learning experiences.
Upon completion, learners will be well-prepared to support children’s welfare, follow professional expectations, and contribute to high-quality early childhood programs. Course length – 3.0 hours.
